Albuquerque, N.M. — Nominations are sought for the 2014 New Mexico Humanitarian Awards. Nominations should be submitted on line at: www.jccabq.org. The nomination period closes on April 15, 2014.
This year (2014) will be the 7th year of the New Mexico Humanitarian Awards. The Humanitarian Awards were created to honor New Mexicans who have demonstrated an exemplary spirit of humanity in a local, national or international capacity. Organized and sponsored by the JCC in conjunction with outstanding local community partners, the Humanitarian Awards celebrate those who have selflessly devoted themselves to help others. The Humanitarian Awards inspire the pursuit of humanitarian goals, such as promoting human welfare, care and compassion, social reform, philanthropy, and values-based investing in the community.
The Title Sponsor for the 2014 New Mexico Humanitarian Awards is DreamStyle Remodeling. In addition, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch sponsors one specific Humanitarian Award: the “CommonGood Investing Humanitarian Award,” the recipient of which is honored for exemplary leadership in socially responsible investing.
Award winners will be honored at the New Mexico Humanitarian Awards Dinner on August 21, 2014 at Embassy Suites Hotel.
