Enriching the Education of Future Leaders.
Kars4Kids, the national car donation program whose proceeds benefit educational initiatives for children, has been giving out small grants to worthy organizations by way of its Kars4Kids Small Grants program for many years.
Grants are available for nonprofits furthering children and young adult welfare and education. By providing grants for activities such as mentoring, tutoring, Kars4Kids enriches the education of our future leaders.
There are so many worthy organizations out there. We want to help. We don’t want to be limited, even by the scope of our own extensive programming. - Wendy Kirwan, Director of Public Relations
Kars4Kids awards dozens of small grants each year. Small grant recipients include Girls on the Run International, Science Camps of America in Hawaii, Chicago’s Gary Comer Youth Center, and TeenSharp, a New Jersey and Delaware-based college preparation program for low-income and minority students.
Successful small grant applicants must demonstrate a mission well-aligned with the Kars4Kids vision of offering children emotional, social, and spiritual development and support. Once the application is accepted, recipients are interviewed for the small grants website. In this way, Kars4Kids raises awareness of the work of small grant recipients with donors and readers.
Nonprofits wishing to receive a grant are encouraged to apply through: www.kars4kidsgrants.org. Grants are distributed on a rolling basis.
Kars4Kids is a nationally recognized, Jewish 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that gives back to the community through a variety of educational, youth development, family outreach and faith-based programs.
