Free IT Help for Nonprofits through ITT Technical Institute Student Volunteers

 

ITT Technical Institute in Albuquerque has set up a program where networks systems administration students will be volunteering their computer maintenance skills to nonprofits in the Albuquerque Metro area. 

Services offered include: 

  • Operating System Software - installing/updating antivirus software, running spyware removal tool, deleting temporary files, updating Windows, running disk defragmenter, backing up user files/settings, running virus scan
  • Computer Hardware Cleaning - removing dust, cleaning power supply, keyboard, and monitor
  • Computer Maintenance Documentation - recording computer-specific information, recording discovered issues and solutions, recording technician-specific information
