Have you ever wanted to sit down with a grants expert and get advice on your proposal? Do you wonder what reviewers are looking for? Bring your grant proposals, projects, and questions to The Grants Collective’s office at 901 Rio Grande Blvd NW Suite D-220 this Wednesday and experts from The Grant Plant will help answer these questions!
Curbside Consulting is a new Cooperative Network event from The Grants Collective. It will be offered every last Wednesday of the month. The first one is this upcoming Wednesday, November 30, between 10:00am and 1:00pm. Come by anytime in this window. This first event is free.
The Cooperative Network is a new program dedicated to making grant seeking more efficient, strategic, and collaborative, and we invite you to be part of the early adoption phase! Curbside Consulting is one example of the type of resources the Cooperative Network will offer its members. While this first event is free, subsequent events will be open to members only. You can join now for a low membership fee of $50, which will provide access to all Cooperative Network resources as they open- in-person and online - through March 1, 2017. After that point, membership will be $50/month. We’re excited to help our members find and pursue the best-aligned grant opportunities, improve capability and effectiveness in securing funding, and provide a formal avenue for collaboration and partnership in grant seeking.
Other upcoming events include:
Brown Bag Lunch discussion and professional development around grant seeking - First Wednesday of the month. The next Brown Bag will be December 7, from 12:00 - 1:00pm. Topic: Planning Your Grant Strategy for 2017. Bring a lunch and join in the discussion!
Thirsty Thursdays! Informal networking for grant professionals - get out from behind the computer! Second Thursday of the month. Join us December 8, beginning at 4:30pm, at St. Clair Winery.
An online platform to facilitate collaboration and provide more grant seeking resources, tools, and templates will be released to early adopters in the next month.
For more information and to join, contact Robert Nelson at [email protected] today, and we’ll see you Wednesday!
