Community Fund Grant Cycle Launches

United Way Opens Grant Process for 2018/19

The Community Fund improves the lives of the most vulnerable by providing program grants to excellent nonprofit programs in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and Valencia counties through an annual, competitive application. These grants are made in alignment with our strategy maps, which use research and community input to determine ideal community conditions and the strategies used to achieve them.

To determine whether or not your organization is eligible to apply, please access the 2018-19 Community Fund Program Grants Applicant Manual on the How to Apply page of our website.

New this year: Basic Needs Specific Funding In the future, UWCNM funding will support the long-term strategies associated with our Family Stability and Education/Youth Development focus. However, to ensure continued support for safety-net services, a portion of the total funding available for grants will be set aside for the preservation of a basic needs specific funding stream. For more information, please refer to our Grants Manual.

Financial Literacy for Family Stability Pilot Grant: We are excited to present agencies with an opportunity to apply for our first ever family stability grant in collaboration with our Tax Help NM program. For more information, please refer to our Grants Manual.

eCImpact Access: After determining eligibility, new agencies should contact Kat Bradley at [email protected] to get set up with login information for eCImpact, the grantmaking software used by UWCNM.
