The Charity Application Process is Now Open for the New Mexico Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

 

We will be offering six charity application workshops in New Mexico for 2013. Local independent charities are strongly encouraged to attend one of the sessions to ease the application process and limit errors.  Reservations for the training sessions will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and is limited to 30 charities per training session.  Additional training dates may be offered if filled to capacity.  Following are the training dates, times and locations: 

Ruidoso:

  • Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM-Noon – The Lodge at Sierra Blanca, 107 Sierra Blanca Drive. *Special room rate for “CFC” $89 per night*

Albuquerque:

  • Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 1:00 PM-3:00 – Presbyterian Com. Center, 2340 Alamo, Room #100 (United Way is in this building)
  • Monday, March 19, 2013 at 10:30 AM-Noon – Roadrunner Food Bank, 5840 Office Blvd. NE

 

A charity must apply for inclusion EVERY YEAR, and must meet all eligibility requirements EVERY YEAR.  The application requirements are taken from Federal Register 5 CFR Part 950 Subpart B (950.201, 950.202, 950.203, 950.204, 950.205) and also Subpart C for Federations.  These regulations can be downloaded from the Office of Personnel Management’s CFC Webpage (www.opm.gov/cfc). 

Applications are due in the CFC Office or postmarked no later than 5:00 PM April 1, 2013 to:
