The Association of Fundraising Professionals New Mexico Chapter announces that the nomination period is open for Philanthropy Day Nominations. Are you inspired as we are about honoring the contributions to philanthropy from someone you know, from someone who makes a difference? Please consider nominating them for the National Philanthropy Day Awards in 2012.
You may use our new online application or print these forms and return them via email to [email protected].
AWARD CATEGORIES:
• Outstanding Business/Corporation in Philanthropy
• Outstanding Fundraising Professional
• Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
• Outstanding Service Organization
• Outstanding Family in Philanthropy
• Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation
• 3 Outstanding Leaders in Philanthropy (1 in each region: CENTRAL: Bernalillo, Torrance, Valencia, Sandoval counties; NORTH: Counties above I-40; SOUTH: Counties below I-40)
• 4 Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy (YIP) Elementary, Middle, and High School; Collaboration Award
• Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Outstanding Young Nonprofit Professional
• Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Outstanding Young Board Member
Nominations must be postmarked or received by Friday, May 25th.
The chosen award receipients will be honored at the National Philanthropy Day luncheon on Tuesday, November 13th, in recognition of their work in improving their communities and their world every day! Join us at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Albuquerque, 11 am - 1:30 pm!
The Association of Fundraising Professionals New Mexico Chapter is proud to have achieved the AFP International's "Friends of Diversity" distinction and "Ten Star AFP Chapter" status. The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network promotes an efficient, viable, and inclusive nonprofit sector that supports the growth, learning, and development of young professionals in their 20's and 30's. The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network - Central New Mexico presents awards at National Philanthropy Day to recognize the work and commitment of oustanding young professionals in the New Mexico nonprofit sector.
