- Catholic Charities
- Children's Grief Center
- Crossroads for Women
- Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity (2 Fellows)
- Mission: Graduate
- Mountain Park Environmental Center (in Southern Colorado)
- Nacimiento
- National Museum of Nuclear Science and History
- New Day Youth & Family Services
- NM Asian Family Services
- NM Forum for Youth in Community
- NM Water Collaborative
- Rebuilding Together - Sandoval
All of them will begin their Fellowships in early 2014 and will add tremendous capacity to local nonprofits.
Encore Fellows are seasoned private-sector professionals entering retirement who are sponsored by their companies (in this case Intel) and the community to bring their professional expertise and passion for excellence to high-impact, high-priority projects with nonprofits. Fellows take on roles that deliver significant, sustained impact to their nonprofit “host” organizations.
Since placing the first Intel Encore Fellows in May 2012, the Center for Nonprofit Excellence has matched five Fellows who have completed their Fellowships and six Fellows who are currently active.
During the Fellowship period (typically 1000+ hours over 6-12 months, half-time to full-time), Fellows earn a stipend, learn about nonprofit work, and develop a new network of contacts and resources for the future. Read more about the Encore Fellowship Program.
