Save the Date!
The City of Las Cruces, in partnership with Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico (CFSNM) and United Way of Southwest New Mexico (UWSWNM) is excited to announce its 8th Annual Volunteer Fair and Giving Day on April 6th, 2019. In the first combined Las Cruces Volunteer Fair & Giving Day event, participating organizations will be able to raise donations at their booths and recieve matching funds from UWSWNM and CFSWNM via grants they have recieved.
In addition to the over 50 nonprofits that will be present to talk to attendees about their volunteer and activity opportunities, there will be new attractions for families such as a stick horse rodeo and children's activities coordinated by Boys and Girls Club. Fill your punch card at nonprofit booths to earn a free custard cone from Caliche's, and donate your extra canned goods to Casa de Peregrinos! The event is free to the public and participating nonprofit organizations, and will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Plaza de Las Cruces.
