Agency Description:

The NM Alliance for School-Based Health Care (NMASBHC) envisions healthy students who are ready to learn. MISSION: The NMASBHC represents school-based health centers in New Mexico and collaborates with other school health partners to promote, facilitate and advocate for comprehensive, culturally competent health care in schools.

Responsible for funds, securities, receipts, disbursements of Corporation; Render statement of financial condition of corporation and all transactions as Treasurer to Board; Render full financial report annually at annual Board meeting; Assist in preparation of budget; Attend meetings approx. every two weeks.

Position Description:

Serve as Treasurer of Board of Directors for NM Alliance for School-Based Health Care. Serve on Executive Committee and Chair Finance Committee.

Oversee financial operations of organization. Executive Director (ED) has direct responsibility for day-to-day operations; however, Treasurer provides guidance to ED and reports to Board on financial condition of organization. Treasurer co-signs checks over $1,500, develops and oversees implementation of Financial Policies, ensures financial documents and reports are completed accurately and appropriately. Performs additional duties as requested by President.
