Friends for the Public Library
Agency Description:
We accept book donations and resell them to raise money for library programs. We have one paid staff member and 60 volunteers who price and sort the donations for our monthly book sales at the Main Library. Our 12-member Board meets monthly.
Attend monthly Board meetings, coordinate with bookkeeper to present monthly financial statements, assist with check signing and oversee tax preparation.
Position Description:
We are hiring a bookkeeper so the treasurer will coordinate with the bookkeeper and present financial statements at each Board meeting. The treasurer will also be the chair of the investment committee.
