NM Alliance for School-Based Health Care
Agency Description: 
The NM Alliance for School-Based Health Care represents school-based health centers in New Mexico and collaborates with other school health partners to promote, facilitate and advocate for comprehensive, culturally competent health care in schools. The purpose is to improve student health and academic success.
Serves as a member of Executive Committee (EC) and chairs Finance Committee. Attends meetings of EC monthly, Board quarterly, and calls Finance Committee meetings as needed. Expected to contribute to organization and, like all Board members, to assist with fund raising.

Position Description: 
Treasurer: responsible for funds, securities, receipts and disbursements of Corporation; provides a statement of financial condition of corporation and of transactions as Treasurer, and full financial report at the annual meeting of the Board; assists in preparation of budget; oversees audit.

The NM Alliance for School-Based Health Care (NMASBHC) has existed since 1999 and is incorporated as a non-profit in NM. NMASBHC provides advocacy for and training and technical assistance to approximately 80 school-based health centers and their staff, providers and supporters.
NMASBHC has a staff including an Executive Director, Deputy Director, Medicaid Program Manager, and Native American Program Manager. The office is virtual.
