NM Alliance for School-Based Health Care
Agency Description:
NMASBHC envisions healthy students who are ready to learn. It represents school-based health centers (SBHC) and promotes, facilitates and advocates for comprehensive, culturally competent health care in schools. NMASBHC provides technical assistance to SBHCs in NM and believes that SBHCs are an important component of the health care delivery system in coordination with community providers.
Meet with Executive Director and accountant monthly; attend Board meetings bi-monthly and Exec. Committee meetings monthly; convene Finance Committee.
Position Description:
Treasurer chairs the Finance Committee, assists in the preparation of the budget, helps develop fundraising plans, and makes financial information available to Board members and the public.
