NM Alliance for School-Based Health Care

NMASBHC envisions healthy students who are ready to learn. It represents school-based health centers (SBHC) and promotes, facilitates and advocates for comprehensive, culturally competent health care in schools. NMASBHC provides technical assistance to NM SBHCs and believes that SBHCs are an important component of the health care delivery system in coordination with community providers.
Position Description:
Treasurer chairs the Finance Committee, assists in the preparation of the budget, helps develop fundraising plans, and makes financial information available to Board members and the public.
Expectations:
Meets with Exec. Director and accountant at least monthly; attends bi-monthly Board meetings and monthly Executive Committee meetings; convenes Finance Committee.
