Agency Description:
The Albuquerque Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program supports the volunteers who help abused and neglected children in court and in the community. A CASA is a trained and supervised volunteer, appointed by a judge to advocate for a child, who is under the court’s protection because of abuse or neglect. The CASA makes recommendations to the Judge on behalf of the child.
Position Description:
The ABQ-CASA Board of Directors continues to seek qualified professionals in the Albuquerque area. We have a Secretary Position on the Board that we need to fill.
Expectations:
The ABQ-CASA Board of Directors Secretary position requires attendance at monthly meetings and taking of minutes, as well as distribution of the minutes and take part in the decision making process with fellow board members.
