Reading Works is an adult literacy program located in Albuquerque. Our mission is to provide adults with the literacy and language skills they need to be more productive, more involved in civic life, and self-sufficient — as well as to strengthen their families.
Position Description:
General Board Member — to serve on our Board of Directors.
Expectations:
Meet 2nd Saturday of each month for 2 hour board meetings
Oversee a project — such as a fund-raising event, community outreach, or media campaign
Make a financial contribution to our organization
Average time volunteered for general board member is 6 hours a month
