Asthma Allies is a non profit asthma education and management organization. While based in Albuquerque, services are available throughout the entire state of New Mexico. The mission of Asthma Allies is to provide education and resources to improve the quality of life for individuals with asthma.
Position Description:
To advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of Asthma Allies so as to support the organization’s mission and needs.
Expectations:
Attendance at annual board retreat and at least 75% of board meetings (monthly) and major fundraising events (3-4 annually). Committee service on at least one standing committee (avg 5 meetings annually) Willingness to participate on ad-hoc committees, as needed. Contribution of $2500 annually (personal funds, or acquired donations and/or sponsorships).
