Mission
EEANM is a non-profit organization which provides, promotes, and enhances quality environmental education by offering New Mexicans opportunities for professional development, communication, and partnership.
Vision
A culturally and geographically diverse New Mexico citizenry with the knowledge, skill, attitude, and commitment, to make informed decisions about their environment.
Position Description:
Board members are the organization’s links to the local, state and regional environmental and education communities. To establish policies, procedures and regulations for the governance of EEANM; to raise funds to finance the organization and its programs; and to monitor the organization’s performance.
Expectations:
Attend Board meetings regularly.
Serve on at least one committee.
Become a financial supporter at an appropriate personal level.
Serve as an advocate for EEANM throughout the state.
Be informed about EEANM programs, policies and services.
Take initiative in informing the organization about opportunities for funding or program developments.
