Founded by survivors to help other survivors and their loved ones, Cancer Support Community New Mexico is in its 26th year of pursuing its mission to transform shared individual experiences with cancer into enduring hope, by providing emotional support services, wellness programming, and education to those affected by cancer.
Position Description:
As per the bylaws, CSCNM’s Board of Directors is comprised of voting members who assume governance and fiduciary responsibility for the organization.
Expectations:
Attend at least 6 board meetings per year.Provide the financial and other resources necessary for achieving the organization’s program and services goals. Serve on one committee or task force Oversee governance of the Agency Strategically plan for effectiveness and growth Recruit quality board members and volunteers
