CKECC is a nationally accredited preschool that has served children and families in Albuqerque since 1919. We are a non profit school that provides full day, year round preschool for 65 children of low income working families. We participate in the Federal Child and Adult Care Food Program. We practice job embedded staff training and development.
Position Description:
Board Members are part of a 10-12 member volunteer Board of Directors that governs CKECC. The Board is responsible for policy making, governance, financial oversight and fundraising for programs and activities.
Expectations:
It is an expectation that board members will bring public awareness to the mission of CKECC, help secure funding, and participate in committees. We are in need of grant writers and IT support. The Board of Directors meets monthly and holds an annual meeting.
