Agency Description: 
Transitional Living Services, Inc. is a Community Mental Health Center that assists adults in the recovery from severe disabling mental illness. TLS provides commprehensive community support services, therapy, a pychosoical rehabilitation program and housing assistance ranging from 24-hour supvised settings to rental assistance for apartments in the community.
Position Description: 
Set all policy for the organization and oversee the management of the Executive Director. Approve all grants and contacts. Hire an Executive Director to administer the daily operations of the organization. Approve the Annual Budget. Fix the salaries of the Executive Director and all staff members. Actively participate in fund raising. Individual must be a formerly homeless individual.
Expectations: 
Attend the monthly board meeting currently held on the 4th Monday of each month from noon-1:00pm. Attend the annual board meeting held once a year. Serve on finance, personnel and client care committees as pertinent.
