Position Description:
Board members are responsible for: formulating purpose and strategic direction; ensuring adequate resources; determining and monitoring the organization's products, services and programs; enhancing the organization's public image; selecting the Executive; supporting the Executive and reviewing his/her performance.
Expectations:
Attend five(5) Board meetings annually (ususally held on Thursday's from 4-6 pm), Participate on one committee (Executive, Program, Finance, Event), assist with raising funds or raising awareness, attend annual special event.
