Reading Works, Inc. is an adult literacy program in Albuquerque. Our mission is to match trained, volunteer tutors to an adult learner (1) to teach him or her to read and write English; (2) to prepare him or her to take the GED exam; or (3) to teach him or her English as a Second Language. Our services are provided for free.

General Member of the Board of Directors
Expectations:
Regular Meetings: Every second Saturday of each month, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Participation on a committee. Average monthly time commitment: 5. Reading Works is a young organization and the Board of Directors is a working board. A part-time Project Leader and the Board of Directors manage the program.
