NM Organized Against Trafficking Humans (NM-OATH)

NM-OATH addresses modern-day slavery through “Healthy World,” the NM-OATH Information Center, located in downtown Ruidoso, New Mexico. As the only 501(c)(3) anti-human trafficking nonprofit in the state, our storefront gallery and research library provides public presentations, educational materials, law enforcement support, victim liaison services, and other programs as identified.
Position Description:
NM Organized Against Trafficking Humans is seeking a board member from northern NM to broaden our state-wide presence. We currently have six board members. Four are local to Ruidoso, one is from Las Cruces, and one from Rio Rancho. We are happy to accommodate conference call or Skype participation.
Expectations:
The board has a particular need for a bilingual Spanish/English participant with a strong understanding of resource and funding development in the northern NM area. Our board generally meets the second Saturday of each month in Ruidoso. The board accepts a number of action items (as appropriate) at the meeting which they are expected to accomplish before the upcoming meeting.
