RCCCNM provides community education and outreach with age-appropriate curriculums to educational institutions organizations, community members and professionals. Our crisis intervention department provides 24-hour support, advocacy, crisis intervention, resources and referrals. Our counseling is offered free of charge to anyone affected by sexual violence who is over the age of 13. We not only provide services to Bernalillo, but also to Sandoval, Torrance and Valencia counties.
Position Description:
To serve as a voting member of the Board of Directors providing guidance and governance as to the direction of the Albuquerque Rape Crisis Center. Monitor financial performance and center programs. Sustain, support and build the RCCCNM 's vision and mission.
Expectations:
Attend regularly scheduled board meetings held on the third Tuesday of every month
Participate actively in one or more committees of the board.
Attend scheduled board retreats, planning meetings, workshops, or other board development activities.
Develop and monitor long-range planning and goals.
Assist in the recruitment and development of committee leadership and new board members.
