Agency Description: 
ALANM is the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. Founded in 1912, the ALANM is often the first point of contact for people with lung diseases (asthma, lung cancer, and COPD) and ALANM is confronting lung disease at the root level by educating kids about the dangers of smoking, advocating for smoke-free places, and working to reduce air pollution.
Position Description: 
Board Members are asked to serve on one committee and have the responsibility of focusing on program and fundraising activities. Board members are expected to participate and support local fundraising events and activities.
Expectations: 
Board meets 1X month from 12 to 1pm @ ALA offices. Terms are for 3 years and members may serve up to 3 terms. All board members personally contribute at least $500 and obtain a minimum of $1,000 from the community annually.
