YWCA Youth Development Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provides day-to-day supervision of all operations that pertain to youth programs
-Implements ongoing program evaluation and strategic planning in collaboration with other YWCA Directors
-Ensures adequate funding through grant writing, contracts, fundraising, and solicitations.
-Assures effective public relations in collaboration with the other program directors and represents the YWCA to the public.
-Performs other duties as requested by her/his supervisor.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

-Submits all necessary reports in a timely manner and assures confidentiality of all records relating to program data, information, budgets and personnel.
-Provides supervision and evaluation of Youth Program interns
-Assisting the other directors with implementing collaborative
-Oversees Youth Program budgets
-Maintains positive relationships with funders, including periodic site visits, and appropriate acknowledgments.

Other Information/Requirements: 

EDUCATION: BA/BS in a related field required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Five years' successful program management and fundraising experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, administrative and computer skills.
