Youth Advocate Fellow

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The YA Fellow's primary responsibility will be to organize and support the BFF Youth Leadership Network. The YA Fellow will also work with the Community Engagement Coordinator to identify professional development opportunities that enhance personal and professional growth.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

$10.00/hr; 15 - 20 hours a week, requires some evenings and weekend

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Successful candidates for the fellowship must be 18 years of age or older and have aged out of the foster care system in New Mexico. Candidates must reside in the Albuquerque area. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED. A strong desire for involvement with advocacy for young people aging out of foster care is required.
