Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Volunteer Coordinator is the key staff person responsible for recruiting and leading the team of volunteers that support all core programs within the Ronald McDonald House Charities of New Mexico chapter. Recruits volunteers for fundraising special events, group activities, special projects, and administrative functions. Leads volunteer trainings and orientations, coordinates retention and recognition, and actively promotes volunteer opportunities within the community.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain diverse groups of volunteers for all programs.
• Arrange scheduling of volunteers for our House, Family Room, and in-hospital programs, as well as events and other activities, as needed.
• Provide meaningful orientation and onboarding, and ongoing training.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a volunteer evaluation and feedback process.
