Main Areas of Responsibility:
Are you interested in using your excellent customer service, communication and leadership skills to improve the lives of New Mexico’s cats & dogs? As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will assist with the management, growth and daily coordination of Animal Humane’s 550+ pool of volunteers and foster families. This is a part-time position that requires a minimum of 7-8 hour days on a fixed Wednesday through Saturday schedule.

You will be:
• Leading our efforts to recruit & train volunteers and ensuring they feel empowered in their vital positions thereby growing our volunteer pool.
• Managing select volunteer schedules & training programs.
• Providing information & guidance to new and established volunteers.
• Assisting with the planning & execution of volunteer involvement in Animal Humane events.
