Main Areas of Responsibility:
This is a senior management level position. The Violence Prevention Coordinator will oversee and manage EC’s Prevention Department including: a Latino culturally specific leadership development project for adult women, men and youth; an outreach and training program; prevention classes; and healthy norms media campaigns.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Outreach and secure strategic community presentation venues for youth and adult leaders to present to larger community;
• Oversee all presentations done by youth and adults at community venues;
• Maintain documentation and produce reports of all presentations, educational tools, and materials in EC database;
• Oversee Promotoras and Engaging Men’s project to ensure strategic prevention plan is being met and that collaboration between youth and adult prevention efforts is happening;
