Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Victim Services Specialist is responsible for assisting the victim and/or non-offending caregiver in accessing needed services by providing personal advocacy services, follow-up telephone contact, crisis intervention and other assistance as needed.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Provide crisis intervention services as needed, based on the particular situation of the victim.
Assist victim & caregiver with accessing support services to meet their needs. trauma they’ve experienced.
Provide personal advocacy services by ensuring that the victim/caregiver can receive assistance navigating state benefits, Social Security, Medicare, and other benefits, as needed. [MORE PRIMARY DUTIES]
