Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Parkinson’s Connection of Central NM conducts two monthly support groups for persons with Parkinson’s and their care partners. We are seeking a professional consultant to administer the support groups and to expand groups in our service area. This is a part-time, grant funded, contract position, term ending June 30, 2022. Scope of work can be completed in 60 hours per month, compensated at $1200 per month.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Lead two existing monthly support groups, either online or in person; determine presentation topics, recruit and hire speakers; develop and implement outreach and marketing campaigns; collect data, create and administer assessments/feedback from group members; collaborate with Board to explore the creation of new support groups in our service area; collaborate with Board to network with Spanish speaking and Native populations.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Reports:Meet with Board of Directors monthly to update on progress; administer bi-yearly feedback/evaluation survey to support group members, tally results, submit report to Board of Directors.
