Substitute Teacher Position

Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Willingness to learn about Escuela del Sol Montessori, Harwood Art Center, the educational philosophy and mission. Ability to observe children to understand their needs. Capacity to follow instructions carefully, carry out projects independently and manage time efficiently.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Ability to interact and communicate with the public, colleagues and children in a respectful, friendly, courteous and articulate manner. Experience with children is a plus. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and meet the requirements of the licensing agencies that regulate the school.
Maintain current Red Cross First Aid Card and meet all New Mexico State Requirements.
Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
