Shift Supervisor

Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Supervises Social Service Assistants, Bus Social Service Assistants, and Volunteers.
This supervision includes delegation of responsibilities to other staff as deemed appropriate
Responsible for performance planning and evaluation of Social Service Assistants and Bus Social Service Assistant positions for assigned shifts in coordination with Program Manager(s)
Ensures the safety and confidentiality of all residents
Conflict resolution
Crisis Intervention

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Knowledge of area service providers and community resources
Knowledge of similar community programs
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English
De-escalation, trauma informed care, or similar training is highly desired
Must be able to maintain composure under difficult situations

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum high school diploma or GED is required
A degree in Social Work, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Family Studies or a related degree is preferred
Minimum one-year experience working with underserved and unhoused population is required
Minimum one-year of supervisory or management experience is required
Three years of direct experience is preferred

$17 - $19 Hourly
