Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The South Valley MainStreet Our Humanity is hiring a Project Coordinator to coordinate its grassroots campaign in Bernalillo County to work with residents, community members, business owners, and employees to provide health literacy education and information and access to COVID-19 testing, vaccination, and other supportive services to address short-term and long-term health disparities in communities of color.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate Community Outreach Educators in community canvassing. Project Coordinator will provide logistical support for organizing project-wide training, communication, and information dissemination.
• Identify, educate, and engage community organizations, businesses, and stakeholders on the COVID-19 vaccination rollout, with targeted emphasis in neighborhoods that are seeing high-levels of COVID-19 infections and low levels of COVID-19 vaccinations.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications
• 5+ year’s work experience with at least three years relevant experience. Preferably a Master’s Degree in Public Health, Policy, Education, Management, and/or Community and Regional Planning at a minimum a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience working with federal grants, reporting, data collection, etc.

Salary:
• $60,000.00 per calendar year in year one with an increase in year 2
