Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing a variety of projects and initiatives to lift up the OST field statewide. The Project Coordinator convenes stakeholders, builds capacity in communities through professional development and connection to resources and partners, and assists in building quality afterschool and summer learning programming that supports the whole child.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Some Responsibilities Include:
• Develop and coordinate training and professional development offerings and events.
• Plan and coordinate a strategy for expanding youth entrepreneurship through OST programming.
• Design and disseminate evaluation tools for OST programs.
• Support NMOST's Young Women in STEM program.
• Collect stories to communicate the community impact of OST programming.
• Research and identify data and content for mapping, blogs, newsletters, and social media.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications:
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in child and youth development, education, public administration, planning, social work, or a related field
• An understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Experience in the afterschool, out-of-school time, and/or the youth development field
• Experience in event planning, workshop development and training
• Able to work independently, take initiative and lead, as well as work effectively as part of a team

Salary Range: 
$42-52K DOE + benefits package and flexible leave policy
