Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Summary of position: Program Manager plans and manages the activities of the Food Cadre Program at Earth Care. This person will be responsible for member recruitment, hiring and management, grant writing and administration, partner organization development and management, budget management, curriculum development, volunteer coordination, program evaluation, scheduling, communications, and occasional teaching. Part-time Job Responsibilities: Manage member recruitment, hiring and supervision process. Develop and coordinate Food Cadre Job Fair and final member selection process. Carryout new member recruitment outreach including development of program recruitment materials, outreach visits, and training and supervising current AmeriCorps Members to assist with outreach. Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or other related field. Minimum of 3 years experience in education or related work. Experience with activities of farming and gardening. Ability to work in an active outdoor setting. Demonstrated success in grant writing, project management, program development, evaluation and implementation. Willingness to work flexible hours, including many weekends and evenings.
