Main Areas of Responsibility:
JOB OPPORTUNITY AT UPAYA - PART-TIME MAINTENANCE
Upaya is currently looking for someone to administer general maintenance. This is a part-time position responsible for the daily operations of all buildings and campus of the Upaya Zen Center.
Responsibilities
o Responsible to keep all buildings and grounds safe for all who visit.
o Work with residents and staff to determine facility needs, problems and projects and decide on corrective measures.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
o Maintain punch lists for all buildings and grounds, assign priority status, and create action steps accordingly.
o Maintain daily/weekly/monthly/yearly maintenance log and ensure schedule is followed.
o Work with Business Manager on action steps to be categorized as work for outside contractors, residents or volunteers.
o Work with Business Manager on policies and procedures for residents & volunteers, and then assure compliance.
o Train resident maintenance person in work methods and procedures.
