Operations and Development Assistant (UNM Work Study)

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position's primary function is to support Media Literacy Project's daily operations, organizational fundraising, and to manage our database and weekly orders.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities:
o Maintain multiple databases in Salsa, QuickBooks, and Excel, including importing and exporting files across different programs
o Process weekly orders
o Maintain inventory and records of all resources
o Maintain grant, customer, and other records
o Assist in fundraising activities
o Document and support events

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications:
o Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
o Strong communication, both written and verbal skills
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
o Ability to work individually and as a member of a team
o Ability to relate to MLP's clients and constituents
o Knowledge of non-profits a plus
o Understanding of social justice frameworks a plus
o Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not required
o Applicants must have a vehicle and valid driver's license
