Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Supervising and mentoring staff attorneys, paralegals, other staff and volunteers;
• Performing administrative duties and working in close collaboration with other members of NMLA's management team;
• Carrying a caseload as sole counsel or co-counsel for low-income individuals and families in the areas of Consumer law and the low-income tax clinic
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Carrying a caseload as sole counsel or co-counsel for low-income individuals and families in the areas of Housing Stability including:
o Eviction prevention
o Eviction diversion
o Habitability
o Reasonable accommodations
o Subsidized housing
o Low Income housing Tax Credit
o Other housing related work
• Being active in local bar and community activities;
