Manager of Leadership Affinity Groups

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for managing Leadership Affinity Groups, including supporting volunteer councils and events, leadership giving initiatives for donors giving $500 to $9,999 annually, working within the Development Team and managing direct mail and recognition programs.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide primary staff support for Women in Philanthropy, Young Leaders Society, Hispano Philanthropic Society and Vision Society.
Develop emerging Community Fund Affinity Group, manage Leadership Speakers Bureau, Direct Mail for Donors giving $500+ and production of Annual Leaders in Giving Book.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Community Development, Social Work, English or related field and at least five years experience in fundraising, development, volunteer coordination and/or social work. Excellent written communication skills and proven public speaking experience required. Successful personnel and volunteer management experience required. Knowledge of local community and bilingual English-Spanish a plus.
