Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Saranam helps families end poverty and homelessness through housing, education, and supportive communities. As the Life Skills instructor, you will teach Saranam’s curriculum to a diverse set of adult students in our program. Developing a safe and secure learning environment is key as well as conflict resolution skills.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

We are seeking instructors for three classes: Parenting, Life Management, and Effective Communication. Feel free to apply to one or more. Each class meets weekly for 3 hours over the course of a semester (16 weeks). You will team up with staff and volunteers to creatively meet our families’ needs.

Other Information/Requirements: 

All candidates should have experience leading and facilitating groups or teaching classes. We provide all staff and instructors with de-escalation and trauma informed care training.
