Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Assists the Center Director and Coordinator in planning and implementing activities designed to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children. Responsible for classroom records. Maintains classroom cleanliness and safety. Keeps parents informed of the progress of children on a daily basis. Supervises and mentors assistant teachers.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

2 years’ experience in working with children in a daycare setting required; 2 years’ experience of supervision in an early childhood educational setting preferred; CDA or CDC required; AA/AS – Associate in Arts in Child Development preferred; bilingual in English/Spanish required; must have knowledge and experience on the normal range of development of children.

Other Information/Requirements: 

demonstrate excellent leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate people. Pay range starts at $14.74 per hour/$30,659 annually, DOE. Catholic Charities’ provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and PTO benefits.
