Lead Educator (School Programming)

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The ideal Lead Educator candidate will be passionate about nature and outdoor recreation, with experience in teaching, classroom management, and curriculum planning. This role involves outdoor leadership in all weather, supervising children and Assistant Educators. Duties include collaborating on curriculum, ensuring safety, and maintaining program quality in outdoor activities for students, grades 6th–High School.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Weekly: Prepare and submit curriculum, request supplies, attend check-ins, assign tasks, communicate class details, respond to emails.
Bi-weekly: Attend team meeting, submit invoice.
Per semester: Submit semester plan, update communications coordinator, conduct student survey, assist in 1 community event, work partner events, attend trainings.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Hours range from 20-35 hours per week.
