Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The National Indian Youth Council is seeking to hire a Job Developer. A Job Developer is responsible for providing job readiness/life-skills training to Native American/Alaskan Native job seekers. They needs excellent communication skills, organizational skills, confidence speaking in public forums, and creative problem-solving skills.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Training and meeting facilitation experience and case management experience is also a plus. This role requires interaction with program applicants, community service providers, educational/ vocational institutions, and local small business owners to enhance and improve employment opportunities for program participants.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Ability to communicate to diverse populations and levels of education, effectively present information, basic math skills, analyze problems and recommend solutions.
Possession of a bachelor’s degree in business, Education, Career Development, Social Sciences, Psychology, or Social Service field preferred. OR associate degree with some work experience in workforce development setting.
