Institutional Giving Manager

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Institutional Giving Manager serves as the primary grant writer, manages funder relationships, engages in compliance reporting, and supports special project initiatives. This position requires strong writing, data analysis, program budgeting, and project management skills, with an emphasis on outcome measurement. The Institutional Giving Manager will be responsible for executing the organization’s grant and corporate funding initiatives.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Research, develop, write, submit, track, and manage grant proposals and reports
• Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective funders
• Maintain grant compliance, budgeting, outcome measurements, and reporting
• Lead cultivation and stewardship of corporate partners for our Business Banquet program.
• Support with events and individual giving as needed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

We require:
• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of grant and/or program management experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with acuity with detail
• Competency in budget management, program reporting, and grants and database management

• Familiarity with food, hunger, health, or senior services a plus
