Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Collaborating closely with tribal leaders and communities, the Indigenous Justice (IJ) Policy Advocate will work across ACLU-NM departments to combine legislative lobbying, policy advocacy, coalition building, community outreach, and communications approaches in an integrated advocacy model. Guided by Indigenous values, the IJ Policy Advocate is committed to advancing issues such as educational equity, smart criminal justice reform, voting rights, and environmental justice.
