Humane Education Virtual Program Manager

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

To bring about systemic change for animals in New Mexico by managing all aspects of The Virtual Animal Connection humane education program. Promote the virtual curricula to New Mexico educators, maintain the online course platform, enroll and train teachers to use the online course platform.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Administer, track, and analyze the online course evaluation tools; gather testimonials, anecdotes, images, and other materials from program users for use in promotion and fundraising; contribute program-related content for organizational ealerts, publications, town halls, and fundraising events.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Associates degree, BA or BS degree, or commensurate experience. Knowledge of New Mexico and its communities; knowledge of K-12 educators’ challenges and opportunities; ability to effectively communicate with and provide service to a diverse constituency; experience with a variety of computer applications; ability to maintain and update an online learning platform; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Covid-safe guidelines allowing, periodic state travel may be required.
