Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Holocaust Survivor and Senior Programs Manager enhances and manages programs that serve seniors and Holocaust survivors. The position has two components: 1)The services and activities addressed by this position include the management and supervision of homemaker services, information and referral services, case/care management, and social recreational activities. 2) The person in this position provides a stimulating, friendly, inclusive Wednesday program for seniors at the JCC.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
- Develops case management and client assessment processes and procedures to ensure the needs of Holocaust survivors.
- In conjunction with the Director of the Jewish Care Program, develops the programs' budgets, reviews monthly programs' financial reports.
- Plan and implement quarterly gatherings for Holocaust survivors.
- Create and run weekly programs for Fall, Winter and Spring seasons for Wonderful Wednesday Senior Program.
- Create and implement Wonderful Wednesday scholarship program.
